Climate change is negatively affecting people's health, safety, and well-being. Therefore, it crucial to understand whether people perceive they have the capacity adapt climate change. Most studies on can focus preventing negative outcomes ability ‘bounce back’. We propose that adaptation may positive consequences too. introduce construct of transilience capture perceived persist, flexibly, positively transform in face risks. developed a scale assess context risks conducted four empirical validate it.
